We are thrilled to announce that our research group will finally come together, moving from the eye clinic at the University hospital of Regensburg to the UKGM/ University of Marburg.
Who will be moving in?
We will form an initial group of 4 members. We are Professor Diana Pauly, our EU project coordinator Veronika Ehinger, our postdoctoral researcher from India, Pratiti Banerjee and our PhD student Hannah Wolf.
What are our first goals?
We will be building our lab from scratch! We aim to integrate the newest technologies for Western Blotting, quantitative real-time PCR, Immunostaining and Mass Spectrometry into our lab.
Which projects will we be working on?
We will launch bench work for the SciFiMed EU project to investigate the role of Complement Factor H. As a second project we will be working on the role of the complement system in Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder.
