On Saturday it is again SciFiMed time. Pratiti Banerjee will present her data on poster number LBP-13. Pratiti loves challenges. She moved beginning 2021 (high Covid times!) from India to Marburg and arrived in a snow chaos. But nothing can stop her. Pratiti managed to established a total new technology in our lab: peptide phage display. Her goal is to isolate new peptides binding to the FHR-family, which could be the keys to unsolved he mystery of the FHR proteins. She is following the footsteps of the famous Compstatin and already isolated two peptides for FHR-3. If you want to learn more about the “Dos and Don`ts” of phage display than you are absolutely right at her poster. Also, if you are looking for an expert in mass spectrometry I am pretty sure she can give you some hints. Pratiti is an optimistic and innovative person. Talk to her about her future plan, for sure she has great things in mind.
